Since there’s no such specific diagnosis called ‘Jekyll and Hyde Syndrome’, having found its way into the common jargon, it is interesting to consider if there was such a thing, what would it indeed be? An analysis of Dr. Henry Jekyll’s symptoms is quite revealing (and there are many), especially when we ask ourselves if they align with the author’s generally accepted original intent.
